The Alex is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join their interdisciplinary team at the Youth Health Clinic in Calgary. In this position, you'll conduct trauma-informed intakes and provide single-session counseling to clients aged 12 to 24. Your role will not only include gathering mental health information but also referring clients to appropriate resources, which ensures comprehensive care tailored to each young person's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect client information for mental health intakes
• Provide single session counseling to selected clients




• Refer clients to external resources when necessary
• Assist in scheduling initial appointments for clients
• Compile data for research and evaluation purposes
Requirements:
• Master's degree in psychology or Social Work
• Active registration in Alberta
• Experience with high-risk youth
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
• First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire
