As a Machine Operator, you will play an important role in ensuring high-quality products are efficiently packaged and shipped to customers while working with state-of-the-art equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation

- Operate packaging, weighing, bagging, sealing, labeling, conveying, and palletizing equipment.
- Monitor production lines to ensure efficient operation and product flow.
- Adjust machine settings to maintain quality and production targets.
- Perform equipment start-up, changeovers, and shutdown procedures

Quality Assurance

- Inspect products and packaging to ensure customer specifications are met.
- Verify correct weights, packaging materials, and labels.




- Identify and remove defective products.
- Complete quality and production records accurately.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance

- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
- Safely clear minor jams and address operational issues.
- Report equipment concerns to maintenance personnel.
- Assist with maintaining optimal machine performance.

Safety & Food Safety

- Follow all workplace safety procedures and safe work practices.
- Comply with food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Teamwork

- Work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance staff, quality assurance personnel, and coworkers.
- Perform production line setup and product changeovers.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and productive work setting.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, packaging, food processing, agriculture, or production environments is an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.
- Forklift experience or certification is considered an asset.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work in a production environment.
