Become a dedicated Social Worker at Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) in Chicopee. This full-time role focuses on mental health and addictions, providing compassionate care to patients.
As part of the Mental Health and Addictions Program, you will support individuals facing severe mental health challenges while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Key skills required include solid knowledge of recovery principles, trauma-informed care techniques, and effective communication abilities. Your efforts will focus on healing and providing person-centered care to enhance community health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial mental health assessments
• Develop integrated treatment plans with service providers
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to support recovery
• Address individual and family mental health concerns
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with teams
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work with OCSWSSW registration
• Experience working with severe and persistent mental illness
• Knowledge of community health resources and eligibility
• Ability to work independently and manage conflict
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
