As a Senior Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator at NexGen, you'll be pivotal in developing and executing the HSE System for the Rook I Project. Your role includes leadership in safety programs, emergency preparedness, and environmental compliance, vital for safe operations. This position requires significant experience in HSE, with a focus on improving site safety standards and implementing regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and enhance the site HSE Management System
• Collaborate with the Emergency Response Team on preparedness




• Implement risk-based planning and annual H&S; objectives
• Conduct inspections, verifications, and audits for compliance
• Oversee incident investigations and corrective actions
Requirements:
• 8-10+ years in HSE within construction or industry
• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety
• Solid knowledge of HSE management systems
• Experience managing onsite contractors and subcontractors
• CRSP/CHSC certification is an asset
