As a Registered Nurse, you will report to the Manager of the Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Care Centre. Your responsibilities include providing immediate medical attention and crisis care while demonstrating keen clinical assessment skills. You will engage with community professionals and advocate for clients in distress, ensuring a supportive care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide immediate medical and crisis care to patients
• Conduct thorough physical assessments of victims
• Advocate for victims liaising with community services




• Work all shifts and participate in the on-call roster
• Maintain compliance with SHN's Code of Conduct
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention
• Excellent communication and interprofessional teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and on-call
• Sensitivity towards sexual assault and domestic violence issues
