The Company is in search of a strategic and experienced Head of Electric Traction to spearhead the development, implementation, and optimization of electric traction systems. This leadership role is pivotal in driving innovation, efficiency, and reliability in electric traction solutions across engineering and operational teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the vision and strategy for electric traction systems, leading cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery aligns with technical standards, and integrating traction technology initiatives with business objectives and market trends.
Key responsibilities for the Head of Electric Traction include overseeing the design, testing,
and implementation of electric traction components and systems to meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. The role also involves driving continuous improvement initiatives and serving as a key technical advisor to senior management and external partners. Collaboration with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams is essential to seamlessly integrate traction systems. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in electric traction engineering, strong leadership, project management, and strategic planning skills, as well as an in-depth understanding of traction system design, performance optimization, and regulatory compliance. While not mandatory, certifications such as Skilled Engineering (P.Eng) or equivalent licensure, and specialized training in electric traction or power systems, are preferred.
