OCL Group Inc. is actively seeking a 3rd Year Apprentice Pipefitter for an upcoming outage. You will read and interpret piping drawings while performing installations and bolting flanges. Mentorship of 1st and 2nd-year apprentices and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards are crucial parts of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret complex piping and isometric drawings
• Assemble and install piping systems independently
• Execute bolt-up of flanges accurately
• Mentor 1st and 2nd-year apprentices in office
• Lead safety discussions and toolbox meetings
Requirements:
• Registered as a 3rd Year Apprentice Pipefitter
• Previous experience in industrial construction preferred
• Valid safety certifications (H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015)
• Physically able to lift and climb in varied conditions
• Clean driver’s abstract required
