Lead early childhood initiatives as a Licensed Early Childhood Educator. Implement programs focused on family literacy and numeracy in partnership with caregivers and children.
This position aims to enhance child development through active parental participation in educational activities. You will share community resources and create engaging environments conducive to learning through play. Essential certifications and a commitment to early childhood growth are fundamental.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop family-focused literacy and numeracy programs
• Engage with parents and caregivers in activities
• Share community resources aiding early education
• Create a supportive and playful learning atmosphere
• Maintain safety and compliance with educational standards
Requirements:
• Must complete Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
• Hold an Early Childhood Education Certificate
• Valid Child Protected First Aid Certificate required
• 6 months experience in early childhood education
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and WorkSafeBC familiarity required
