Responsibilities

- Meeting with clients to discuss tiling and marbling requirements.
- Measuring the area to be tiled or marbled in order to determine stock requirements.
- Giving clients accurate estimates for the intended job.
- Purchasing stock supplies and assembling tiling equipment.
- Creating custom‑sized tiles or marble.
- The surface should be cleaned and leveled.
- Applying tiling cement and arranging tiles or marble to design specifications.
- Tiling grout is being applied.
- Cleaning excess grout and carrying out post‑installation inspections.
- Work invoices are processed.





Requirements

- GED or high school diploma.
- Prior experience as a tile and marble setter is required.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Advanced mathematical abilities.
- The ability to use hand and machine cutting tools.
- Understanding of tiling designs and installation methods.
- Ability to work for long periods of time crouching or kneeling.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities.
