Lead high-quality resident care and infection prevention at Extendicare as the Director of Care & Infection Prevention and Control. Collaborate with executive teams to implement essential health services and quality standards.

In this full-time role, you will report directly to the Executive Director while collaborating with the Director of Care to support exemplary resident care. Your focus will be on implementing person-centered nursing philosophies, overseeing infection prevention protocols, and ensuring legislative compliance. Your leadership will drive improvements in nursing services and ensure a safe workplace for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:



• Collaborate with Executive Director on departmental performance • Plan and implement resident care services • Manage financial and human resources in nursing • Oversee Infection Control monitoring activities • Ensure compliance with clinical standards and quality care

Requirements: • 1+ years as a Registered Nurse in long-term care • 3+ years in a managerial capacity • Current RN registration required • IPAC education and experience preferred • CPR certification and leadership skills required
