Role Overview
Teck is looking for an experienced Apprentice, Pipefitter to join our team at Trail Operations, reporting to the Group Leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Repair and maintain a wide variety of complex piping systems that are integral to the operation’s activities
- Perform preventative maintenance and fabrication work
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
Qualifications
- Completion of Grade 12 (please submit a copy of certificate to application)
- Completion of a Pipefitter/Plumber Foundation course and/or
- Currently indentured as an apprentice pipefitter
- Journeyperson Plumber with transferable hours will also be considered
- WHMIS certification is an asset
- Related industrial maintenance experience
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems considered an asset

Pay Range: $36.56-$46.03 /hr
The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
