We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong expertise in HEIDENHEIN controls to join our manufacturing team near Tecumseh, ON .

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs using HEIDENHEIN controls (e.g., TNC 530, TNC 640)
- Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines as needed for testing and validation
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining strategies for efficient production
- Perform first-off inspections and make necessary program adjustments to meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot machining issues, including tool wear, offsets, and program errors
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve cycle times and processes
- Maintain accurate documentation of programs, tooling, and setup instructions




- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the machining department

Qualifications

- Diploma or certification in Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field
- 3–7+ years of CNC programming experience, preferably with HEIDENHEIN controls
- Strong knowledge of CNC milling processes (3-axis / 4-axis / 5-axis preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T;
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM, or similar)
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Positive communication and teamwork abilities
