Job Title:Maintenance EngineerJob ID: 89278Location: Burnaby, British ColumbiaOverview This role will provide operational, administrative, and coordination support for the execution and management of the in-year maintenance program within a complex utility environment. The role will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Planning, Scheduling, Asset Information Services (AIS), Station Field Operations (SFO), Maintenance Engineering, and Program and Contract Management (PCM) teams to support maintenance execution, SAP governance, reporting, and program administration activities.The successful candidate will assist in coordinating maintenance-related activities and ensuring maintenance work orders, change requests, and associated business processes are progressing in alignment with operational priorities, fiscal timelines, and compliance requirements.What you will be doingCoordinating and processing SAP maintenance-related activities, including SA01 and SA02 work order administration and change requestsSupporting the execution and monitoring of the annual and in-year maintenance planAssisting with Request for Support (RFS) coordination and tracking activitiesMonitoring maintenance order progression, schedule adherence, and completion statusSupporting phase control, Final Due Date (FDD), and maintenance compliance tracking activitiesAssisting with maintenance reporting, data validation, and program status updatesCoordinating with internal stakeholders including SFO, AIS, Maintenance Engineering, Scheduling, and PCM groupsSupporting standing order administration and fiscal year maintenance tracking activitiesSupporting maintenance planning initiatives, process improvements,



and SAP stabilization effortsMaintaining records, documentation, and communication related to maintenance execution activitiesAssisting in identifying operational issues, process gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvementWhat you must haveUniversity graduate in applied science or engineeringRegistered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) with Engineers & Geoscientists BC or with another jurisdiction and eligible for registration as such with Engineers & Geoscientists BCBC Hydro uses a Digital Sign and Seal Technology. You may be required to subscribe to a digital seal technology service offered by NotariusFamiliarity with CAD systems and drawing standardsAbility to use standard industry design/analysis softwareIntermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Intermediate English skills for skilled environment, written and spokenThis position requires strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Experience with SAP, maintenance planning, utility operations, asset management, or infrastructure-related programs would be considered an asset.Salary/Rate Range:$61.00 -$75.00 per hourTerm: 7-month; contract most likely toextendThank you for your interest in this opportunity.
