Provide quality personal care as a Personal Support Worker at St. Joseph’s Home Care. Your responsibilities will focus on enhancing independence for clients through care and support.
In your role as a Personal Support Worker, you will support clients in their transition from hospital to home within Assisted Living Programs. You will be responsible for adhering to personal care plans, engaging clients in their care, and maintaining a safe workplace. Your compassionate care will help clients retain their dignity and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with daily personal care tasks
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Remind clients about their medications




• Conduct wellness checks and offer social interaction
• Support mobility and encourage participation in activities
Requirements:
• PSW Certificate from an accredited institution required
• 1-3 years of PSW experience preferred
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification necessary
• Access to reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license
• Completion of vulnerable sector police check and two-step TB test
