Service Technician - Restaurant Equipment. Action Restaurant Services is one of the largest Canadian-owned foodservice repair and installation companies in Southern Ontario. Located in Markham, Action has been servicing, testing, rebuilding, and installing restaurant and bakery equipment since 1979.
Responsibilities
- Assist with servicing, testing, rebuilding, and installing restaurant and bakery equipment.
- Work with a team to diagnose and solve problems using robust diagnostic skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Be handy around hand and power tools.
- Be comfortable driving a service van (clean driving record required).
- Full-time position including some overtime and occasional on-call weekend duties.
Qualifications
- Have completed high school with some credits in math, physics, chemistry, or electronics.
- Be able to communicate well in English and organize thoughts clearly.
- Experience with gas appliances is an asset.
- Be willing to attend training schools locally or out of town.
