Job Description

- Operate machines orequipment, or use hand tools to cut, shape, splice and fitplastic materials to form parts and assemblies
- Read and comprehendinstructions and follow establishedprocedures
- Using tools to makeor repair parts and products
- Assemble compositematerials on patterns to form parts and assemblies using bondingagents
- Collect allmaterial and equipment needed to begin theprocess
- Interpretingtechnical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints,or other verbal or written instructions
- Operate spray-gununit to apply resin mixtures to metal or wooden mould toform plastic products
- Take precisionmeasurements to ensure perfect fit ofcomponents
- Keeping a clean andtidy workspace




- Select or modifycomponents according to measurements andspecifications
- Meeting all safetyrequirements of the company and industry
- Align material andput together parts to build more complexunits
- Identifying anydefective items and handling them according to establishedprocedures
- Keep records ofproduction quantities and time

Requirements

- High schooldiploma; Higher degree from a technical school will beappreciated
- Attention todetail
- Technicalknowledge and ability to read blueprints,drawings etc.
- Experience as alaborer in the same company may be required for assemblers,finishers and inspectors
- Ability in usingtools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g.presses)
- Excellenthand-eye coordination
- Goodunderstanding of quality controlprinciples
- Ability to liftat least 50 lbs
- Goodcommunication skills (verbal andwritten)
- Willing toperform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing forextended periods oftime
- Excellenthand-eye coordination and physicalcondition

Required Years ofexperience: At least 1 year ofexperience

Salary: $25.50 - $34.62per hour
