About the Role
Ace1 Media is looking for a passionate and motivated Software Engineer Intern to join our development team. This is a hands-on internship where youll gain real-world experience working on high-traffic web applications that support digital content and advertising delivery. Youll be mentored by our Lead Developer/CTO and contribute to meaningful technical projects that support business growth.
What Youll Do
- Assist in developing and maintaining full-stack web applications
- Help implement recent features based on design and product requirements
- Support performance optimization for user experience, SEO, and ad delivery
- Learn how to integrate APIs (e.g., Google Ads, analytics, etc.)
- Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning
- Help monitor application performance and report bugs
What Were Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Some experience (academic, personal projects, or previous internships) with full-stack development
- Familiarity with the following technologies is a plus:
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- React, Node.js
- Next.js
- PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- A basic understanding of version control tools like Git
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work in a remote team environment
Nice to Have (But Not Required)
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
- Interest in SEO, web performance, or digital advertising
- Familiarity with tools like Playwright for testing
- Exposure to media processing tools like FFMPEG
- Curiosity about analytics, Google Ads, or content monetization
