Key Responsibilities:
• Review patient records to assign ICD-10-CA/CCI coding
• Implement coding methodologies for quality outcome grouping
• Abstract data according to CIHI and hospital protocols




• Consistently document productivity in alignment with department requirements
• Ensure all coding visits are completed and balanced each month
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited Health Information Management Program
• Certified with Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA)
• Experience in NACRS ER coding/abstracting preferred
• Working knowledge of CIHI standards essential
• Robust communication and interpersonal skills
