About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Toronto team and help expand Abacum’s reach. The role focuses on outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities

- Research and identify potential customers.
- Execute outbound sales campaigns using phone, email, and social touches.
- Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns or events.
- Understand prospect needs and articulate Abacum’s value proposition.
- Meet and exceed individual and team goals.
- Maintain accurate information on prospects and activities in Salesforce.
- Leverage tools such as Gong, Salesloft, Zoominfo, Cognism, and SalesNav.

Qualifications

- Previous outbound BDR/SDR experience with cold‑calling, preferably in a B2B SaaS company.
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving, high‑growth setting.
