Position Overview

Experience

- Recent combined mother-baby care and/or recent Labour & Delivery and/or LDRP and/or neonatal and/or Antepartum nursing experience required.

**Nurses currently working on A6 Antepartum/Gyne will be deemed qualified due to antepartum on that unit.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

- NOTE: ANNUAL BLS LEVEL C REGISTRATION/RE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

NOTE: Successful completion of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program at a time scheduled by the employer or at a time mutually agreed upon between the nurse and the employer required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

- Current College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM) registration required.
- Certification in IV Therapy and IV Medication Administration required.

Qualifications and Skills

- Bilingualism required (ability to understand and speak English/French). **





The candidate must be able to understand and speak French at a proficiency level that allows them to sustain varied in-depth conversations with patients and families. Language proficiency will be evaluated in order to assess the applicant’s proficiency level. For information on the required proficiency level, please contact the Human Resources Department.
