Atira Development Society builds, operates and maintains housing throughout the Lower Mainland to meet the need for safe, appropriate and affordable housing. Our property management services include services to strata corporations, developers, rental property owners, non-profit housing, and housing cooperatives in Greater Vancouver.

About the Job:

The Property Operations Lead oversees the day-to-day operations of an assigned portfolio of supportive housing, affordable housing, market rental properties, and commercial spaces. The role coordinates leasing, occupancy, rent-up activities, tenant and resident concerns, and eviction processes in accordance with Atira's policies and regulatory requirements.

The Property Operations Lead maintains operational records and reporting, including funder reporting systems, and works closely with property owners, tenants, residents, contractors, funders, and internal teams to ensure properties are well maintained, compliant, and operating efficiently while supporting positive tenancy outcomes.

Programs specifically serving First Nations, Métis, and Inuk women and children, hiring preference will be given to First Nations, Métis, and Inuk women.

You Have/Will be Required to Have:

- Relevant post-secondary education and/or training in combination with a minimum of three years' experience working with people who are facing multiple forms of oppression including but not limited to violence, abuse, homelessness, poverty, and racism.
- Operational/administrative management, planning, organizing, human resources, analytical and communications, counseling/social services knowledge and skills are typically acquired through the completion of a university degree or equivalent skill-based training combined with directly related experience.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of related community and provincial programs and supports is required. Administrative and supervisory experience is required. A minimum of three years' experience providing one-to-one support to individuals who have experienced trauma and crisis is mandatory.
- Experience in residential and/or commercial property operations, tenancy administration, leasing, occupancy management, and regulatory compliance is required. Demonstrated proficiency in property management and housing information systems, including maintaining tenancy records, occupancy data, reporting requirements, and other operational documentation, is an asset. Experience using Yardi or similar property management software is preferred.
