Our financial services client is seeking a Release Train Strategist II (10+ years of experience) to coordinate regulatory project delivery using Scaled Agile and Jira

Join a mature Agile organization supporting high-visibility regulatory initiatives within a banking workplace. This role focuses on coordinating release planning, managing interdependencies, and supporting end-to-end technology delivery across multiple teams. The position offers exposure to complex projects, long-term opportunity potential, and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, 4 days in office, 1 day work from home

12 months

Must Haves

- 2+ years of RTE experience within Scaled Agile environments
- 2+ years supporting Regulatory projects
- 10+ years in Project Management and Program Management across technology delivery initiatives




- Jira experience supporting release coordination and delivery tracking
- Undergraduate degree required

Nice to Have

- Banking or financial institution experience
- Previous Banking Wealth experience
- SAFe Agile certification

Responsibilities

- Facilitate program increment planning sessions across teams
- Monitor timelines and manage interdependencies within the release train
- Identify and resolve obstacles affecting release schedules and product quality
- Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to prioritize features and capabilities
- Promote communication and collaboration across teams
- Generate and report metrics related to release train performance
