About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director and Treasurer to oversee its finance, procurement, legal affairs, and compliance functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for exercising the powers conferred under relevant acts and governing documents, as well as for the delegations granted by the Board of Directors and senior management. This role requires a strategic leader with a collaborative approach, who can ensure the financial health and integrity of the organization.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a qualified accounting designation (CPA), and a master’s degree in business administration or a related field. A minimum of fifteen years of experience as a senior executive, with a proven track record in the relevant areas, is essential. Experience within a public or parapublic organization is a strong asset. The Executive Director and Treasurer will be expected to lead a team and work closely with the Board of Directors to make informed decisions that align with the organization's mission and goals.
