As the Archives Administrator in the City Archives unit, you will oversee the development and implementation of archival policies, ensuring that materials meet preservation standards and are accessible to the community. This position requires collaboration with peers, public engagement through exhibits, and the preparation of comprehensive documentation to support archival practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer corporate and community archival operations
• Classify and appraise archival materials systematically




• Develop promotional materials to enhance public awareness
• Conduct historical research and plan community events
• Monitor budget recommendations for archival projects
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Archival Science or relevant experience
• Expertise in archival standards and procedures
• Ability to work independently and supervise volunteers
• Valid Driver’s Licence for British Columbia
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
