Do you enjoy teaching and helping others succeed? We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Food Safe Level 1 Instructor to deliver engaging training sessions to students, staff, and community members.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Food Safe Level 1 courses in a clear, professional, and engaging manner; prepare lesson materials and classroom setup.
- Ensure students understand food safety principles and regulations.
- Administer course assessments and exams.
- Maintain attendance records and course documentation.
- Provide a positive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Food Protected Level 1 Instructor Certification (or eligible to teach).
- Previous teaching, training, or facilitation experience is an asset.
- Able to travel to communities and has a valid class 5 driver’s license.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Organized, dependable, and professional.
- Experience in food service, hospitality, or health regulations is an asset.
