About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Operations to join its executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of transportation activities across North America, with a focus on driving operational excellence, strengthening organizational accountability, and advancing technology-enabled decision-making. This role requires a seasoned operations executive with a proven track record in managing complex, multi-site organizations, particularly in growth and transformation contexts. The Vice President, Operations will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency, profitability, and compliance of operations, as well as leading the integration of recent and future acquisitions. Key responsibilities include developing and leading the North American transportation strategy, providing leadership to division heads, and maintaining operational governance across all divisions.



The role also involves fostering a culture of collaboration, and performance, and supporting the company's growth and integration strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, over 15 years of senior operational leadership experience, and a strong understanding of operational performance drivers, financial management, and customer-focused service delivery. Experience in the transportation, logistics, supply chain, or other complex, asset-intensive operational environments is highly valued. The candidate should be a bilingual leader, fluent in French and English, with a significant asset being knowledge of Spanish. Personal characteristics should include being a team-oriented, pragmatic, and approachable leader with high integrity, sound judgment, and a proven ability to develop talent and build high-performing teams. The role demands a disciplined, results-oriented, and adaptable individual who can influence long-term strategic planning and ensure the alignment of operational priorities with the company's strategic objectives.
