As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in diverse therapeutic areas including Audiology, Physiotherapy, and Speech Language Pathology. This position focuses on client engagement through assessment, treatment, and team-oriented goal setting to support their functional abilities. You will work closely with clients and families, ensuring their active participation in rehabilitation and healthcare decisions while contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and assessments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Facilitate client and family engagement in care
• Supervise and mentor Therapy Assistants and Aides
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives in client care
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registration with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• Two years of Therapy Assistant experience preferred
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Strong organizational and communication skills
