Starting in August 2026, the Educator will work under the Gignu Manager. This entry-level position focuses on applying educational principles and fostering positive behavior while coordinating essential activities. A core responsibility is to conduct counseling sessions, promoting health and relationships for youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver educational programs to clients daily
• Conduct individualized and group counseling sessions
• Document activities and submit detailed reports




• Encourage optimal health and wellbeing among clients
• Assist clients with daily living tasks and appointments
Requirements:
• College diploma or university degree in related field
• One year of relevant experience required
• Knowledge of behavior modification strategies
• Valid driver’s license and transparent background checks
• Understanding of Mi’gmaq culture and language
