Wage Range: $32.32 to $37.26 per hour (start rate is non‑negotiable and in accordance with collective agreement requirements)
Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week
Shifts: Mon‑Fri, Days, Evenings, Weekends, Statutory Holidays, On Call
Status: Permanent Full‑Time
Closing Date: June 18, 2026
Duties
- Independently perform all technical aspects of prescription preparation including compounding and dispensing responsibilities, as per master worksheets
- Replenish stock medication supplies for assigned areas
- Ensure patient information is updated and maintained in the pharmacy computer system
- Complete all required reports and documentation
- Attend, participate and assist in staff and patient training/educational functions
- Perform workload measurement support functions
- Perform cross‑functional and/or other duties consistent with the job classification, as assigned or requested
Qualifications
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Program at an accredited college or recognized equivalent (required)
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician (Part A) in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (required)
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and to manage competing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn and troubleshoot changing technologies/machinery
- Two years practical and related experience preferred
- Previous hospital experience with unit dose system and intravenous admixture service preferred
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job
