This permanent part-time Registered Nurse position in the Pediatric Inpatient department is open for candidates with solid pediatric nursing skills. You will need to be available for a 0.40 FTE and possess a valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Your experience in acute pediatric settings will be essential to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate care for pediatric patients
• Engage effectively with families and support systems
• Carry out nursing procedures and IV administration
• Maintain comprehensive patient documentation
• Facilitate breastfeeding support for new mothers
Requirements:
• Valid nursing registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 2-5 years of recent pediatric nursing experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
• NRP certification within 6 months of hire
• Preferred training in pediatric nursing
