Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented team member to prepare accurate cost estimates for roofing and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience reading plans, and the ability to work in a quick-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Review project drawings, specifications, and scope of work
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for flat and shingle roofing projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs and material costing
- Request and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotes
- Prepare and submit bid packages and proposals
- Maintain estimating databases and job cost records




- Work closely with project managers and the operations team
- Attend site visits when required

Qualifications

- Experience in roofing is an asset
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills

Requirements

- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
