Key duties include preparing complex journal entries, analyzing balance sheet discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Additionally, you will drive efficiency improvements using automation tools and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform month-end and period-end close procedures
• Analyze financial discrepancies and variances
• Prepare financial reporting schedules per accounting standards
• Maintain and enhance internal controls over reporting
• Mentor junior team members in financial reporting
Requirements:
• CPA designation with 2+ years in accounting role
• Experience with ERP systems, NetSuite preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and EPM tools
• Solid understanding of financial regulations
• Bilingualism in English/French is an asset
