The Registered Nurse A is accountable to the Nursing Unit Manager within the General Surgical Nursing Unit. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating high standards of patient care in line with the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region's philosophy. Additionally, the position includes daytime, nighttime, and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive client-centered nursing care
• Assess patient needs effectively and empathetically
• Plan and implement nursing interventions
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans
• Coordinate with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or nursing diploma
• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) required
• Willingness to work extended shifts
