Impact lives as a Community Support Worker with DDA in Vancouver, BC. This temporary full time role invites you to provide engaging, personalized support to adults of all abilities and backgrounds.
In this role, you will contribute to the Developmental Disabilities Association by fostering a caring program environment. Support participants in achieving their social, emotional, and vocational goals while facilitating recreational and daily living activities through community-based programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop an inclusive program environment for participants
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care
• Lead the implementation of individualized goal plans
• Organize engaging programs for diverse abilities
• Provide outreach services to enhance community support
Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in relevant social or educational fields
• 1-2 years experience in community services
• Experience in client-centered program development
• Valid Driver's License and First Aid/CPR certification
• Criminal Record Clearance and Medical Clearance
