Licensed Heavy Duty Mobile Mechanic – Braslau, Ontario

Job Type: Permanent (Full-time)

Responsibilities

- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures and always acting in a safe manner.
- Completing and following requirements of field level hazard and job hazard assessments.
- Performing thorough inspections of equipment and identifying required repairs.
- Working independently on customer sites often.
- Performing routine and specific maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
- Inspecting and diagnosing components and equipment for servicing needs.
- Completing repair orders.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing equipment and light and heavy duty vehicles.
- Communicating equipment servicing needs as required with supervisor.
- Completing warranty information.
- Disassembling, inspecting, fitting and replacing worn or broken parts.
- Carrying out housekeeping duties.
- Completing required documentation and daily Samsara logs in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications





- Licensed/Journeyman Truck and Coach Technician.
- 3+ years’ experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic.
- Experience working with hydraulics is an asset.
- Experience working on vacuum trucks is an asset.
- Ability to use (J Pro) diagnostic software.
- Class 5 Driver’s License required.
