About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice-President, Finance to oversee the statutory financial administration duties and provide strategic leadership in all financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for accounting, forecasting, budgeting, risk management, financial reporting, and maintaining key relationships with funders. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the VP will contribute to a team-oriented, people-centered, and values-driven leadership culture, supporting the organization's mission and fostering strong cross-functional relationships. The role requires a leader with a CPA designation, a master's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and a minimum of 10 years' senior-level accounting and leadership experience. The VP must demonstrate the ability to lead with emotional intelligence, professionalism, and a collaborative, relationship-centered approach,



and have a strong understanding of non-profit funding environments and multi-site operations.

The ideal candidate for the Vice-President, Finance position at the company will have a proven track record of leading with integrity, clarity, and accountability, and fostering an environment of continuous learning and inclusive collaboration. They should be adept at problem-solving, have excellent communication skills, and be able to provide clear and respectful financial insights to diverse audiences. The role also requires a leader with a strong understanding of risk management principles, the ability to balance financial stewardship with operational realities, and a commitment to the values of the organization, including social justice, anti-discrimination, and cultural responsiveness. Experience in non-profit financial management, particularly in the areas of modernization, automation, and process improvement, is highly valued. The VP will be expected to lead the finance department, support the professional growth of team members, and ensure that the department is structured and resourced to meet the organization's goals.
