We seek a detail-oriented QA/Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently and accurately.
Duties
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials - check received items by verifying product information, quantity, and quality
- Prepare items for shipment by verifying product information, quantity, and quality
- Operate forklift, an overhead crane, or other machinery to move materials within the warehouse
- Pick orders and pack them securely for shipping
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Assist in some shop preparation of project materials - should be a mechanically and/or electrically inclined worker with experience with basic hand and power tools
Requirements
- Experience in basic QA documentation, shipping,
receiving, or warehouse distribution required
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to operate forklifts
- Robust attention to detail and basic math skills
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures through at least one year of previous experience
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy packages
- Must have a vehicle to drive themselves to and from work
