Agnico Eagle is seeking a Construction Miner for the Macassa Mine, located in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. This role emphasizes hands-on mining skills and safety adherence.
As a Construction Miner, you will support mining operations by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and effectively operating underground equipment. The position requires the ability to perform diverse tasks, including installation and repair of mine services, while prioritizing safety and environmental responsibilities. You will collaborate with other trades to enhance overall operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
• Operate LHDs, scissor lifts, and other mining equipment
• Install and repair underground services,



including air and water lines
• Read blueprints and interpret schematics for construction tasks
• Document work completed accurately and thoroughly
Requirements:
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Experience operating LHDs and other machinery
• Robust safety ethic and collaborative skills
• Proficient reading and numeracy skills
• Valid CWB ticket preferred
