Make a difference daily as a Registered Practical Nurse at Berkshire Care Centre in Windsor, ON. This on-site, part time role is dedicated to compassionate resident care and interaction.
As a key member of the nursing team reporting to the Director of Care, you will coordinate individualized care plans while promoting the home's values. Your responsibilities include supervising PSWs and ensuring that care is delivered effectively while addressing all resident needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and adjust care plans based on health changes
• Liaise with families, agency staff, and health professionals
• Supervise unit activities and PSW assignments
• Monitor medication administration and maintain records
• Conduct resident assessments and team conferences
Requirements:
• Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Basic CPR certification is beneficial
• Experience in long-term care environments preferred
• Well-established communication skills required
• Must have a valid vulnerable sector check and TB test results
