We’re seeking an Bilingual HR Generalist to play a pivotal part in keeping HR operations running seamlessly. Your work will ensure accurate employee records, resolve inquiries with care, and uphold strict confidentiality—all while fostering a positive and organized employee experience. Role Highlights:
People Operations
- Manage and update employee records in WorkDay, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Maintain HR files and databases, ensuring compliance with Canadian and provincial privacy laws.
- Support leave and absence management, including input and process coordination.
- Act as a liaison for STD/LTD processes, ensuring timely communication between employees, managers, and our benefits providers.
- Facilitate smooth file transfers for external disability management.
Culture & Connection
- Be the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries,
providing empathetic and confidential support.
- Serve as the go‑to resource for questions about policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
- Manage the HR shared inbox and ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Compliance & Integrity
- Ensure HR practices meet Canadian employment standards and healthcare regulations.
- Support audits and reporting for employee data and training records.
- Keep HRIS and internal systems up‑to‑date with accurate employee details.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
Key Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is a must.
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Technology, Business Administration, or a related field — or equivalent qualified experience
- Minimum 1-3 years of administrative or HR support experience
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Proficient with Google Suite and strong overall computer literacy
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP, Workday, Dayforce, SAP (Success Factor) and/or UKG is highly desirable
Workplace Setting
- Hybrid model: 3 days in‑office, 2 days remote
- Position can be based out of any of our offices in Mississauga, Calgary.
