About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Employee Services to lead a significant change management process and ensure the best possible service delivery in a complex, transactional, and client-focused environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and overseeing payroll, employee records and benefits, workforce management services, and related business applications that support these functions. This role requires a strategic and operational leader with a strong background in employee services, particularly in the areas of payroll and HR records. The Executive Director will be highly engaged in the development of new shared health services and the implementation of a new system across the province's health authorities.





The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting staff through high-quality delivery, especially during periods of transition, and will possess robust critical thinking skills, a genuine service orientation, and the ability to build trust in a multi-stakeholder environment. A practical blend of education and direct experience in operational functions related to employee services is essential. The role demands a leader with exceptional patience, resilience, and the ability to stabilize a hard-working team while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence in support of organizational priorities. The Executive Director will also be responsible for key partner engagement and must be confident in representing the function with senior leadership, both internally and externally.
