About the Role

The Company is in search of a Managing Director for Business Development in Insurance Premium Finance. This key leadership role is focused on driving the sales strategy, execution, and growth of an insurance premium finance platform. The successful candidate will be a strategic thought leader, responsible for the development and implementation of a go-to-market strategy. They will lead the identification and conversion of new broker and strategic partner opportunities, with the goal of building and managing a robust pipeline of commercial insurance broker prospects across Canada. The role requires a deep understanding of insurance financing, distribution, and brokerage,



as well as the ability to position the company's premium finance solution as a strategic enhancement for brokers.

Applicants for this role should have 7-10 years' of experience in the insurance industry, particularly in commercial insurance, premium finance, or related financial services. A strong industry network and a proven track record in business development, strategic partnerships, and revenue generation are essential. The ideal candidate will be a energetic leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, capable of mentoring a team and contributing to the company's growth. They must be adept at supporting executive-level sales discussions, contributing to product and pricing strategies, and shaping the commercial strategy and long-term growth plan. A collaborative leadership style and the ability to work cross-functionally are also key qualifications for this position.
