About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to provide strategic, operational, and technical leadership in the procurement services portfolio. The CPO will be responsible for defining and executing the procurement strategy, engaging with senior stakeholders, and overseeing the procurement team to ensure transparent, compliant, and data-informed activities. This role requires a leader who can drive sector-wide collaboration, cost optimization, and risk-managed sourcing, and who is adept at developing innovative service models. The CPO will also be involved in service development, category leadership, and delivery, and must have a strong background in procurement, sourcing, supply chain,



or commercial leadership, with a focus on public procurement.

Candidates for the CPO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in procurement or related fields, with at least 7-10 years in senior leadership. A Master's degree and qualified designation are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading large-scale procurement programs, strategic supplier relationships, and working with complex stakeholder environments. Key skills include excellent knowledge of procurement, project management, and category management, as well as strong leadership, people management, and risk management abilities. The CPO must be a strategic thinker, with a commitment to excellence, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
