About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, People, Culture, and Belonging to lead the strategic evolution of its People Services function. This executive will be responsible for shaping the employee experience across the health system, modernizing HR processes and systems, and fostering a culture of accountability, psychological safety, and belonging. The role involves providing strategic leadership in alignment with clinical and operational priorities, overseeing complex labor relations in a multi-union setting, and implementing province-wide workforce systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in large, complex, unionized environments, with deep expertise in labor relations, workforce planning, organizational development, and HR modernization. Experience in healthcare, public sector,



or government-adjacent systems is an asset.

Key responsibilities for the Vice President include leading a large HR team, championing a culture of respect and inclusion, and developing an employee experience strategy that enhances retention and engagement. The successful candidate will be a relationship-builder, capable of fostering productive partnerships with clinical leaders, unions, government, and external stakeholders. They must be adept at influencing with credibility, communicating clearly, and demonstrating humility, diplomacy, and integrity in complex conversations. Above all, the role requires a leader who is passionate about the well-being of employees and is ready to make a meaningful impact on a system that serves communities across the region.
