About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Wings and Fuselage Operations to oversee a multidisciplinary team responsible for wing and fuselage operations across multiple sites in North America. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading, engaging, and developing the team to ensure the achievement of operational, quality, and performance objectives. This role requires a strong background in industrial project management and manufacturing strategy, with a focus on optimizing resources and processes in a complex and evolving manufacturing environment. The Head of Operations will also be expected to develop a customer-centric approach, contribute to operational budgets, and analyze technical and quality data to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.





Applicants for the Head of Wings and Fuselage Operations position at the company should have over 15 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 10 years in the aerospace industry or a high-reliability sector. A university degree in aerospace engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is essential, as is excellent knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with Lean methodologies, continuous improvement, or an operational excellence system, and experience on a final assembly line is considered an asset. The role demands excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to manage critical situations with professionalism and effectiveness.
