Western Toyota is seeking a motivated, energetic, and career-minded Service Appointment Coordinator to join our Corner Brook, Newfoundland dealership.

Responsibilities

- Greeting service customers and obtaining customer and vehicle data
- Scheduling service appointments in an efficient manner and in consultation with the Service Manager
- Advising customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacture’s specifications, using maintenance menus
- Providing strong customer communication by ensuring that customers understand the services being recommended or carried out on a vehicle
- Handling telephone inquiries regarding work in progress and scheduling appointments; returning phone messages promptly
- Processing warranty claims
- Providing follow-up with customers
- Providing support on the parts and service counters when required
- Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

Qualifications

- Excellent understanding of the English language and ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing




- Ability to work well under pressure and deal with people sensitively, tactfully, and professionally at all times
- Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of customers and offer appropriate options and solutions
- Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional appearance and manners
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment
- Solid work ethic and positive team attitude.
