The Coordinator plays a crucial role in the full time, collaborative effort to create a Nation-based Child Well-Being Law. Responsibilities include leading community engagement sessions, overseeing project staff, and developing foundational policies. Your work will support M’Chigeeng's long-term vision for self-governance and family wellness.
Key Responsibilities: • Oversee project staff, ensuring clear roles and support • Facilitate surveys, focus groups,
and community engagement activities • Conduct research and prepare key analysis reports • Assist in developing governance structures and reporting tools • Monitor project milestones and address challenges proactively
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years in relevant fields • Experience with Indigenous child welfare frameworks • Strong organizational and communication skills • Knowledge of Anishinaabe culture and legal landscapes • CPIC with Vulnerable Sector Check
