Empower students at Alexander Galt High School as a Secondary Teacher in Math & Science for Cycle 1. This 100% contract runs from August 25, 2026, to June 29, 2027.
This role is for a Secondary Teacher who will bring expertise in Math and Science to a agile classroom. Candidates must be working towards or hold a valid Quebec teaching authorization and must be enrolled in a Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching program at a recognized Quebec institution. Relevant experience is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Math and Science to secondary students
• Create engaging lesson plans
• Monitor and report on student progress
• Work with the instructional team for curriculum development
• Engage in school activities and student events
Requirements:
• Hold or pursue a Quebec teaching authorization
• Enrollment in an accredited teaching program
• Bachelor's degree related to the subject area
• Experience with young people or adults in an educational setting
• Evaluation of diplomas from abroad required
