About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President, Finance to join their senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be a strategic and hands-on leader, overseeing the full finance function and partnering closely with the CEO and other senior leaders. Key responsibilities include executive leadership, championing continuous improvement, leading financial management, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. The role demands a professional with a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline, a CPA designation, and 12-15 years of progressive senior-level experience in finance and/or operations, preferably in a rapidly scaling or medium-sized B2B organization.



The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision support, with strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

The Vice President, Finance at the company will be expected to be a highly strategic thinker, compassionate, creative, and laser-focused on making a big impact. They should be comfortable operating in ambiguous and uncertain environments, with the ability to make sound decisions and provide clear direction. Personal competencies include the ability to build strong, authentic relationships, and being an empathetic, humble, and honest communicator. The role also requires the identification and mitigation of risks, oversight of compliance, and the ability to secure government funding and other financing programs. The candidate should be adept at leading and coordinating external audit processes and ensuring transparent financial reporting. A strong background in financial systems, reporting tools, and financial modeling is essential, as is the ability to build and maintain financial discipline, governance, and a scalable operational structure.
