About the Role

The Company is seeking a Board Director to join its community-based, volunteer Board of Directors. The successful candidate will be part of a governance body that is dedicated to the effective and efficient delivery of healthcare services, with a focus on continuous quality improvement and ensuring the best quality of care for patients and clients. The Board Director will be responsible for formulating the strategic direction of the organization, ensuring financial viability, and building collaborative partnerships both internally and externally. This role requires active participation in Board and Committee meetings, a commitment to positive governance, and a belief in the purpose and vision of the organization.





Candidates for the Board Director position at the company should be prepared to serve a minimum of 15-20 hours per month, including regular Board and Committee meetings. The ideal candidate will have a background in working with marginalized and vulnerable populations, particularly in the social services sector. The role is voluntary, and while there is no financial remuneration, approved travel expenses will be reimbursed.
